Wheel thrown red stoneware clay mug. Hand carved geometric patterning decorated with slip trailed dots and an incised coil. That rope-like coil detail is something I was taught by Zulu potter Jabulie Nala, although it's a ceramic decorative technique that shows up in many different cultures. The surface texture of the mug is highlighted by a satin copper breaking glaze that is soft to the touch. Holds 12 oz. 4” tall with roomy three-finger handle.

Shipping
All orders ship within 1-3 business days via USPS Priority Mail except for The Smoke Collection which ships UPS Ground. You will receive a shipping notification including tracking information once your order is packed. Every package is marked fragile and insured for its full value. If you make multiple orders, I will combine them in one box if possible and refund significant shipping overages. I use biodegradable and/or recycled shipping materials.
